I had a bad experience trying to get DAN to pay for a chamber dive. Dealing with DAN was a huge pain in the ass. I sent them all the required paper work and just assumed everything was taken care of until I started receiving collection notices from a collection agency hired by the hospital. It took several phone calls and several weeks of me filling out all the paper work (AGAIN) to finally get them to pay their share. It turns out that my primary insurance carrier ended up paying for most of it anyway. The good part about DAN was arranging for the chamber and getting all the logistics taken care of, but you really have the pry the money from their tight little fists.
