The    key    words    in    Spanish    are:  "buceo"  (diving),
"submarinismo"   (submarinism,   diving).   There   are  several
commercial operations in Malaga (check out the PADI centers).

Suggestions:

- Take your own regs __and__ diving licence;

- Don't hire bottles with K valves;

- Pay rather some more and go to a 5 stars PADI center (they have
  some more of a "quality control");

- Don't count there will be Nitrox;

- Don't dream there will be Trimix.

Be  aware:  you  may find some seamaids, good food, first quality
wine (if you like) and, like I, stay forever over here ... ;-)

Dont  forget:  the  Spaniards  invented the submarine, the diving
bells  (in  the  Middle  Ages), the Marine Infantry, they had the
most   advanced   navy,   transoceanic   fishing   fleets,   ship
construction yards, cartographic know-how and largest ever empire
of  the  history  of  mankind.  This  had/has  a  lot  do do with
knowledge  of  the  sea, history, techniques and inventions, etc.
This  is  a  country  with plenty of history for which we have to
show much respect.

There  are  a few marine reserves in Mallorca, Menorca, Ibiza and
Formentera where you may go quickly in fast boats from Malaga.
