Aldo, the ones I have seen where covered with a heavy duty "laquer" ( don't know wether powder coated of PU, or... Your concern to water getting to the fibers seems valid, but may be much more to glass fibers than to kevlar ones. However, a failure mode of the tanks, in case of kevlar, has been described to me as " seeping bubbles out of the kevlar layers...." So perhaps I will not be the first one to use such a tank, though f.i. the use of the small 2 l 300bar Draeger sphaeroids in the Mark 15 seems alluring. regards Matthias "Aldo P.
