Hello Everyone, I have a question for those using deco software. I have been using Z-planner for the past couple of years. Also I have just recently tried Deco Weenie. With Z-planner I set it to run tables that are 10% conservative. I know a couple of divers that set there program to 50% conservative, this seems to be such over kill I can't believe it. They end up with deco times as long or longer then the times from there TDI tables. We do most of our mix diving in Lake Superior and Lake Wazee in central Wis. So we are dealing with cold water. Cold being upper 30's on the bottom and maybe into the 50's during the last couple of stops. So finally here is the question, what percentage do you set your software at? I have gotten to the point that I'm thinking of setting mine at "0". Even with drysuit, under garment and using argon I still get cold. So fire away, let me know what you think. Is the software conservative enough or should some percentage be factored in. Thanks, Al -- Send mail for the `techdiver' mailing list to `techdiver@aquanaut.com'.
