Alain, Counter diffusion is when a heavier gas diffuses slower than a lighter gas, i.e.. nitrogen/heavier gasses on-gas slower than helium off-gasses. That is why it is good for decompression purposes: the helium off-gasses much faster than nitrogen/heavier gas on-gasses. Don't blame George for being right. There is a reason the WKPP is the best.
