One of the things I still remember vividly from my own basic course,
years and years ago, is the instructor giving a list like that and saying
"100 kilopascals" and the look of shocked horror on my brother's face as
he whispered "101.325!" from his seat beside me.

He's since gone on to become a military test pilot.
