I am looking into purchasing a scooter (dpv), to be used primarily for
cave diving, and have only been able to obtain limited information on
what is available.  I live in Tallahassee, Florida and the opinion of
the local cave divers I have spoken with is that the Tekna 3X (with
some slight modifications) or a Tekna DV100 with a 3X motor are the
best overall choices.  This is primarily based upon their relatively long
burn time (50-55 min. on 9) and their goodness of fit with the
preferred Hogarthian (Bill Main) method of equipment configuration.  I
would be interested to know what others are using and for what reasons.
