JT, I am not in the business of teaching diving and I hate doing that shit , especially when dealing with the hopeless. I do it once in a while when and if I feel like it, and if I am going to waste my time, I'll do it with people who really want to learn something, not those who want to argue. I opted not to get involved this time, although I was asked to do it a while back. JJ is the guy with the agency , not me. I am doing a show with JJ in Italy next month, for those who do not have the level of cotton in the ears that the NE crowd has demonstrated, but again, this is more because I know and like the people involved in Italy, I am doing it for fun, and I guarantee they will learn form me. The Europeans also are givers, not just takers, and they are the only ones with whom I can get a two way information path going. They help me, and I help them. There is nothing to be learned from NE wreck diving other than how to fill out police and Coast Guard reports, how to deal with dead bodies at sea, how to lie to the authorities about the piss poor seamanship and judgment voids that led to the deaths, and your personal specialty, how to explain a cluterfuck, that I want to even hear about as a joke. I just ran across the pictures off of the Seeker that you guys gave me when I was in Virginia. They are a disgrace of human stupidity. How can guys like your boy Dan, who dives manifolded doubles of air with an air pony strapped behind him with a slobwinder to turn it on , possibly be expected to get anything out of what I have to offer, and how can I possibly give a fuck about dealing with that level of moronity as a whole class of divers? Give me a break. I grew up in New England and these people are an embarrassment. I don't even like to admit I dive between the example of these idiots and the Fl cave divers on the other end of the stupidity spectrum. -----Original Message----- From: Capt JT [mailto:captjt@mi*.co*] Sent: Tuesday, March 27, 2001 1:39 PM To: techdiver@aquanaut.com Subject: Re: "Wrecks 2001" I see that Capt Dan Crowell of the Seeker will also be there, is there any special reason that George/Trey won't be there with JJ. :-) At 09:41 AM 3/27/01 -0500, Tony Blanchette wrote: >On Saturday, April 7th in Framingham, MA the listmembers who live in the >Northeast will have a chance to hear Jarrod Jablonski speak at Metrowest >Dive Club's "Wrecks 2001" show. > >This one day event focuses on Wreck/Tech diving and will have exhibits and >nationally acclaimed speakers that will appeal to both beginning and >experienced divers with an interest in this specialty. > >For more information and tickets go to the "Wrecks 2001" website at >www.mwdc.org/wrecks2001. >-- >Send mail for the `techdiver' mailing list to `techdiver@aquanaut.com'. >Send subscribe/unsubscribe requests to `techdiver-request@aquanaut.com'.
