> Does anyone have any experience with the Zeagle 7700 Tech Diver > BC? Positives: - tough, hard wearing, - loads of clips/rings, - very comfortable, - good for twin tanks, - weight release systems keeps weights from moving round the body, - I need 2-3kg less weight than my stab jacket, - all black (except for the clip rings) tells people I'm a real ruffty-tuffty diver ;->. Negatives: - will not keep me upright, when on the surface. I am either face down (its initial preferred position) or on my back as a raft, - no lifting handle makes it hard to pass (from the water) into a RIB/inflatable, - getting the weights out of the pockets and handing them to the boat (RIB/inflatable) is hard, in anything other than calm water (its too heavy to lift with weights and tank), - can't easily get hold of the clip on pockets and extras like the redundant bladder, here in the UK (the jackets are in the shops, but DUI, the UK importers, can't get their act together and send me them). Summary: Nice to dive in, very comfortable. However, I havn't loaded it with anything other than twin 10Ls, so can't comment on carrying stage bottles. A real pain getting out of the water, if diving from an inflatable or RIB (which is what most of my diving is). Unable to teach in, as I can't talk to the students with my face in the water or pointing to the sky (I kept my old stab-jacket for this purpose). As a note, the "wings" style of bladder allowed me to have a dry suit inflator attached direct. This acts a second/back-up inflator and feeds off the other twin or pony cylinder, hence, I no longer need a cumbersome emergency bottle (standard UK issue). - nigel.
