Subject: [DIR-GER] Test tube: Quartz glass vs. Pyrex vs. others recomanda

Hi Matej,

the Tk is given in Kelvins per millimeter, therefore
the less thickness, the more temperature resistance a
given glass will prove.

The mechanical strength (against cracking) is proportional
to the wall thickness, but, the amount of light absorbed too.

Quartz glass got the harder surface - less scratches tru
abrasives like sand.

Well, a wall thickness of 1,5 mm sounds way to thick to me.
Just take normal test tubes from the chem/pharma supplier
and get the excess length cut off.

Regards,
	Thomas.
