John,
These are the two problems that the dive team reports at depth; either =
the gauge bows inward and the needle is unable to move to give a correct =
reading, or the gauge implodes (which has happened twice thus far). =20
I haven't been able to find a liquid filled spg available from any =
manufactuers. I guess I'll just try to unscrew the brass ring around =
the scuba pro model, filled it with oil, and hope it goes back together =
without any complications.=20
I was just hoping that since there would be a quick and easy answer that =
someone would have for me.
Al

Al,
I know that many of the deep divers just oil fill their analog depth =
guages with mineral oil or silicone fluid (remove the rubber blowout =
plug, fill with the liquid, and replace the plug)
The major problem with most analog gauges is that the face of the =
gauge will bow inwards at extreme depths and prevent the depth =
needle/indicator from moving. Filling with an incompressible fluid =
eliminates this problem.

Looking for a tank gauge that is analogue, with a hose; depth rated =
to
+500ft.
Btw, the nemesis II has a working depth of only 327ft.
