Manos,

I am a (still) photographer, been at it for a while.

If you are going to ask a question such as this one, I would
respectfully suggest (in addition to the scant information you
provided originally):

1) advise WHERE (geographically) you captured the image
2) advise HOW you captured the image (still, video)
3) advise WHETHER there are other images
4) advise that the creature ACTUALLY LOOKS as illustrated

So you had a couple of people (Esat, who is one of the most
knowledgeable divers I know) and myself speculating with insufficient
data. Data that you could have provided.

You didn't by any chance manipulate the image did you? Did you?
Happens that in real life I run a pretty sophisticated Artroom. We do
stuff like that in our sleep and I still can't believe that a Titan
mutilated to that extent can still live.

Hmmm, its interesting that the Anal fin, pretty long and skinny on a
Titan (and it surely looks like a Titan), appears completely (and
cleanly as in surgically) gone as does the V of the Caudal. That
requires "two bites of the cherry" by the "predator", leave alone a
pretty precise one of the Anal fin. That sounds like an unlikely
scenario to me although my speculation could, but of course, be
entirely wrong.

If the subject matter had been a Techdiver one you would have been
flamed to hell and back for presenting insufficient information (when
you knew about it).

Just as well it wasn't (even though it certainly was Off Topic).

Cheers,

Christian
