Alsdo, The new Heiser steel carbon 10l are 9 kilogramm empty, price for doubles with manifold was 1300,- DM what I saw. Russian IDA has been using small compound bottles as well ( Al/ SS / Titan, do not know, they made garden tools of titan, though ( broke down market for subs) Old french Fenzy DC 55 had compound bottles. For recent bottles the jury is still out, in terms of longevity in marine/aquatic environments. Titanium bottles there are/ were, somewhere on this planet or outaspace.
