I just got some information on the BMD/SCR-4 rebreather and thought the members
of this list might be interested. Here are some highlights:
"Semi-closed circuit recirculation using an all new O2 addition method that is
keyed to both respiratory minute volume and depth, thus making decompression
calculations similar to open circuit and just as accurate."

I haven't seen or tried the unit ( can you believe they don't have one here
in Vancouver! ). The above is just from BMD's liturature, and while it doesn't
sound too bad, there is also the following to consider
