This started on another list (GUE I think) and the nature of the thread
changed just before it got to techdiver.

We all got caught in the crossfire.

JT has 104s and seems to like them. He isn't the sort that does things for
the heck of it, so I'm going to pick his brain on the subject the next time
I see him. Those things weigh over 100 pounds full and there must be a
reason he uses them.

I suspect I would be pretty heavy with 104s and a steel backplate.

There are guys who come around here and dive double 125s and I don't do that
either.
Most can't get back on the boat by themselves. :)

I'm looking at 112s.
Quite a bit more gas and just a little more weight on the boat.
The folks around here don't like HP tanks.
I don't know why, but will before I lay down the plastic.

It wouldn't surprise me to find some included a boot.
Probably the phase of the moon gets into it as well. :)

Thanks for the exchange.
