Over the last few months we've really beat the topic of O2 compatibility and O2 cleaning of regulators to death. I don't recall, however, any suggestions on how to prepare a submersible pressure gauge for O2 service. Obviously, the O rings would have to be changed. What does one do about the inner workings of the gauge, and the HP whip itself? On a related topic, I'd be interested in learning how people are preparing the inside of their O2 scuba tanks. Most of my steel tanks have been tumbled at some point. The standard procedure for cleaning the dust out of a tumbled tank (used for air) is to blow the dust out with HP air. A residue remains, and the tank's interior is still coated with a layer of fine, sticky matter. This presents no problem whatsoever with compressed air, but I'd be worried about putting 1800-2000PSI of oxygen in there. Any thoughts? Andy Cohen
