No matter how squared away you think you are, you will probably find something that needs adjustment. Before you spend money on items in the wrong priority, get a GUE instructor opinion. Some equipment, like tanks, you can rent or borrow. Trying the full DIR gear will be an eye opener if you have not dived it previously. You'll find yourself more streamlined and moving more easily through the water. The right equipment, along with the techniques you will learn or improve in your class will make a big difference for the better in your diving.
