To do archeological work with FullFaceMask, I would definitely go for the swedish Interspiro/AGA option with constant overpressure ... it is easy to use, it permits communications if needed and it is safe ... only a helmet would be a better alternative under such conditions. My opinion. I worked a lot fishing up tiny monsters for experimentation in 4-8ºC water while studying marine biology in Sweden. Under such conditions, the problem is the wind before the dive.
