Subject: Question on Apex's reg?

I just purchased an Apex TX100(flathead) reg. The Tech at the dive shop said 
that Apex is changing the Second stages. He was not sure what the changes 
are. Can anyone enlighten me what the changes are? And also if the new 
design is better or worse? I can trade in if the diference is worth it.
