Dude,
maybe not a racist remark, but certainly uncalled for, and contemptible.  I 
also found it offensive.

I joined this list due to what I perceived as a wealth of information that I 
could pick up from more experienced divers, that I thought would display a 
high degree of professionalism, not make callow cracks at those that are 
seeking answers to problems.  

In the first few words I ascertained that this was someone who does not use 
English as their language but IS attempting to use English to solicit 
information, and although not correct, it was understandable.  Would you be 
able to communicate as well in any given language?

Like I said in the beginning, I joined to acquire knowledge. If questions are 
met with ridicule you tend not to ask questions.  What good is the List then?
