To Andy Hall, Manchester University Sub-Aqua Club ( BS-AC 0475 ) mbhphaa@af*.mc*.ac*.uk* I think you have got the wrong end of the stick here. Our SAA insurance covers us for liability in member to member actions ie giving a bad fill. What it does not cover is if the compressor filter towers explode, or a hose bursts, or the final stage of the compressor fractures etc etc, and injures someone. Whether these are significant risks worth 250 GBP/year was subject to a lot of debate in our committee meetings. We decided it was. I WOULD BE INTERESTED TO HEAR OTHER OPINIONS ON THE VALIDITY OF OUR DECISION. (copy to techdiver for feedback) Are far as we could see, we could either find insurance based on our own maintainance schedule, or we could get a firm in to service the compressor and be covered by their insurance. We chose the former due to difficulties in finding such a company for a reasonable price. Bill Dyer Nuneaton SAC (SAA #220) Warwickshire, UK bill.dyer@mi*.co*.uk*
