Hi all:

I heard a rumour about the hardware used by Scubapro on its digital =
depth meter (SG-12, I think) beeing exactly the same as used on the =
DC-12 decompression computer.
Following this line, I suspect that the same happened with the entire =
Uwatec/Scubapro line of diving computers (Aladin Sport, Aladin Pro & =
Aladin Pro Nitrox).

The thing is that they use always the same hardware, but they disable =
the advanced features on the entry-level equippment.

Can anyone confirm/deny this rumour?

This beeing true, one could ask why should they charge us so much more =
for the "advanced" models?
This is apparently another good example of how the diving industry =
treats the divers...
