Yep, it is an actual inner ear problem. Symptoms sound exactly alike except
I've lost a lot
of high frequency hearing in addition to the ringing. The ENT doc (not a
friend, she's being
conservative) said that I had fluid leaking out of it and that it would take
quite a while
(several months) to heal.

How deep do you dive now?
