In regards to the sherwood dry bleed system, the flow rate will not solve your
problem.  Issues such as when will you know the pressure is too high will
still be there.  When my high pressure seat aged, my combination inflator/
octopuss 2nd stage started leaking.The intermediate pressure creeped up
when I put a gage on the LP port.

My commercial buddy uses surface supply and says that $28 is a good price
for the overpressure relief valve.  He also said that new Poesiden 1st stages
have them built in 'cause so many poeple used them as argon regulators and
such.  I haven't called a dealer on this.
