There has only been 2 people do better that 148' on the Vienna.  You,
apparently, and a dead guy I know did 153'.   And to date we still don't
know where he dug the hole.  You are mixing up adding 10' for safety and the
actual depth.

Jan in White Fish Bay there was an opportunity to dive through 4 ft of ice
on
the Vienna to 160.
Next time your looking for a quick ice dive Jan, let's try the Iron
Mountain, MI
area. there are several iron mine to get into.
