Mike: If you don' t think George has the equivalent of a doctorate in extreme diving, please let me know who does. As has been pointed out, the awarding of a doctorate does not confer respect. I respect George for many reasons, probably the most important is that he stands up for what he knows is right in technical diving and has abolutely nothing to gain personally except the satisfaction of knowing he may be saving lives. As for your rantings, you must have a very slow practice to be able to spend the time ranting on the internet about less than useful information that you do. I pity you because you have taken excellent data that has been extended to you free of charge by George et al. and because you did not like the delivery method or the personality of the person presenting it you fly in the face of facts. That is terminal stupidity. Get a life outside of techdiver. I've been diving for 35 years and have learned more from George in the last 3 years reading techdiver and taking one GUE course than I have in my first 30 years of diving and instruction. I'm a PADI Master diver and a Technical Decompression diver certified by NAUI, I also hold certs from NASDS and originally YMCA. NO comparison in teaching methods and expertise. Stick with recreational diving, you're not fit to expound on technical diving. Terence W.
