Ah...There in lies the clue. If you are trained correctly and understand the use of the gas, to maximize the O2 window when decoing, then danger is not really a factor in this equation. You are at rest when decoing with these gas, although squeezing the arms and legs during deco assist in proper off gassing. Thus, the risk of OX Toxicity is minimal and O2 breaks also contribute to O2 safe use. I guess in the final analysis, only a moron who never dives, MJB, would not know why and how we use these gases.
