The math Sheck put into his program is the Buhlmann's ZH-L16 algorithm with these modifications: - instant descend to the bottom is assumed. - the time to first stop is included in bottom time at maximum depth for decompression calculation (he does that using recursive functions). - the bottm time is further adjusted by a logarithmic function of time that has the effect of making the tables generated by DR.X equivalent, or more conservative than those of Hamilton Research Ltd. and Oceaneering Corporation. Sheck did not want to alter any parameter of the ZH-L16 model. This information comes from "MIXED GAS MADE EASY, A Strategic Planning Approach To Trimix, Heliox, Nitrox, EAN, Air" by Sheck Exley (this was his Mixed Gas Diver student manual). To my knowledge, his software has no other particularities regarding decompression calculation. Michel BP7Y@mu*.mc*.ca*
