I just got the OMS oxygen analyzer. The flow meter was so filthy inside that I'd have to crank the gas to get it moving and then go back down. In addition, the flow meter is a 15 lpm type, which means that calibrating for 2 lpm you need to use the very first line on the flowmeter, the very bottom of the range. It's hard to tell if you've got it or if the ball is still resting on the bottom stop. I like these analyzers because I like seeing the flowrate (my paranoia I guess). But I'm really sick of dealing with OMS. The last time I bought something from them it was missing a couple of parts...good thing I checked it before jumping in the water. Anyway, I tried calling the 800 number on the "manual" (some poorly xeroxed pieces of paper that someone had stapled together). "Hello, you've reached the Lord Abbott Retirement Information Center...." I hate to slam a manufacturer, but this is the last piece of OMS gear I'm buying.
