Jens, List,
A few years ago when I did the TDI mix course, we were doing it with twin 
independent back gases.
The thought was to switch from air to trimix at 55m and feel the difference.
Although quite dangerous as we would all agree, it highlighted the difference.
I don't know if TDI still promotes this.
Jens, you would need to speak to Richard Taylor.
A mate of mine did the TDI normoxic trimix course in Sydney recently, he 
uses twin independents, and I think both back tanks had mix.
Air is such a poor choice for diving.
If you have any reason to come up to Darwin, let us know.
