Terry, look at how DAN fought the PFO thing and suddenly now they are acknowledging it. That is because they were set up by the dive industry, and they coined the phrase "unearned hit" to describe shunt induced dcs. The number of law suits won in commercial diving over PFO is huge. FACT. Red cell rigidity is next. These guys will get it when the truth is better understood . But for now, we all know air is bullshit , yet they persist. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Terry Michael" <terry-1@ly*.co*> To: "Techdiver@Aquanaut.Com" <techdiver@aquanaut.com>; "Trey" <trey@ne*.co*> Sent: Saturday, October 14, 2000 9:32 AM Subject: Re: They Don't Want It Told > I don't know about the law suit part > not my cup of tea, but the rest of your post is > 100% right on target! > > Diving compressed air sucks! > > -- > > On Thu, 12 Oct 2000 08:34:22 > Trey wrote: > > I am so sick of the dive instructor idiots who fight me at every turn on the reality of air diving and the realities of PFO and deco diving. > > > > They do not want to hear the truth and the reason is that when they finally have fought the truth as hard as they can and get proven wrong beyond a shadow of a doubt, that is when the serious lawsuits will start, and that is when some of these guys will not only lose all insurance, they will lose it all and be out of business. > > > >I hope that day comes hard and soon, and I personally would love to see some of these air morons show up with brain and spinal lesions, but then how could you tell - most of them are so mentally impaired anyway that it is a "mute" point. > > > >1) air diving has been implicated in every form of body, bone, spine and brain damage in all studies.
