Subject: Real Time Air Integrated Computers- Hoseless version

My hoseless dive computer (Deco Planner) runs on the following platform
below...it runs at light speed.  The hardware is not water proof, explosion
proof and can not be taken to depth.  It can be downloaded to the real time
computer between my shoulders, which is the ideal placement for the
information.  Everything else is just cyberboil:

CPU:  Athlon processors 759Mhz overclocked.

Mother Board:  Asus a7v

RAM:  Two Corsair/Micron 128 MB PC133 certified SDRAM DIMMs for a total of
256MB.

Hard Drive:  IBM 22GXP 22GB 7200 rpm IDE Hard Drive 

Video Card:  Hercules GeForce2 with DDR. 

Case:  WIN Full Tower Case Q500 with 300 watt power supply.

Modem:  Intel pro 10/100 Ethernet card and the USB modem as a pair.

Monitor:  19" Princeton Graphics AGX900 Monitor with Sony "Trinitron .25 dpi
tube.  

DVD-ROM Drive:  Pioneer 16x ATAPI DVD-ROM Drive with software decoding.

CD-Burner:  Plextor PX-W8432TI 8x write, 4x rewrite.

Sound Card:  Creative Labs Sound Blaster Live; Value 3D audio or Diamond mx
400 

Speakers:  "Cambridge sound of the MX400 bundled with soundblaster.

Floppy Drive:  Teac 1.44

Mouse:  MS explorer and optical mice 

Keyboard:  PS/2

Options:

Game Controller:  Gravis Xterminator Game Pad.

Scanner:  HP5200 CXI 

Tuner Card:  Have installed to capture TV ect.

UPS:  Opti UPS 650ES Battery Backup with Voltage Regulation

Alrighty now, a new thread on the best dive computer....

Mine is an IBM 380 Thinkpad Laptop.

Positive points:  Runs DecoPlanner really well

Negative points:  Not water friendly, difficult to bungie to my wrist, no
"real time" gas usage data....  ;-)
