Dave, as you know I don't like high PP02's in the bottom mix. I like 1.2 max or less. There is a difference between the working part of the dive when your lungs are working out and when at rest in deco. My personal experience is that I can feel it during and after a dive if my bottom mix is much over 1.3. I feel much better during and after a dive if I do my high PP02 portion of the dive during the deco rather than at the bottom.
