Hi -

I joined the list when it originated, and so far am a 'techdiver.lurker'.
My interests are primarily in wreck diving, and the general aspects of
technicle diving regarding safety at depth.  I look at diving very much as
I look at sailing, which is a never-ending search for refinement of skills
and knowledge (not that I needed *another* expensive hobby, but after years
of exploration on the *surface*, I felt it was time to explore what was 
going on on the *bottom*).

I've been around the water all my life, and found diving quite natural for
me.  Currently I'm doing a PADI AOW certification (yeah, I've been watching/
reading the flame wars D-) and will be looking forward to continuing my
underwater education for the years to come.

I dive primarily in the US Northeast (Massachusetts) waters, but have done
a fair amount of diving in the Florida Keys, and the wrecks in Bermuda.
