For those of you who thought it would never happen, it's happening now. 
Even though we had asked to be kept updated, and my wife is actually on the 
witness list, we had to find out through someone not even connected to the 
government that the Standing Committee meetings are starting this Wednesday
October 4th.

It was just three days ago that we received a letter from Toby Barrett (the
MPP that introduced the Bill) stating that he hoped the Bill would be
discussed this Fall. 

We contacted the Clerk and were told that several witnesses were notified
and would
be speaking Wednesday. He stated that others would be contacted in regards
to speaking 
on the 11th.

I suggest that everyone again contact their MPP and remind them how bad
this proposed Bill is. MPP contact information can be found at
