Thought I'd add another consideration re the isolator valve.  Some would
argue that while it does allow you to isolate a tank it also adds another
point of failure as opposed to a straight connection.  Divers riding scooters
seem particularly sensitive to this trade off. Rmember a failed first stage
can still be isolated by simply turning its respective valve off.
