Terry, I agree 1000%, and could go on and on, but suffice it to say that if you are buying regs for your back, get Apeks where the problems are all solved long ago, and the track record is in the ten year range of perfection. Funny that those Brits figured it out right off the bat, and nobody else seems to get it. >I think your right, > >The 600's series has a tab on the mushroom retaining ring that makes it difficult to break down without damage to the mushroom. This tab also makes it impossible to reassemble with eyes closed like is possible (just for fun) with the old 250's. They are also 100% plastic which I don't like. > >I bought three of these or 380's when I heard how great they were in the neck position. They breath great but are not as DIR friendly as the older G250's or the APEKS seconds. The new G250's are all plastic with G500 guts. > >Also the plastic pins they use for the cover, does anybody not throw that thing out directly upon removal from the box? :)) > > > > > >-- > >On Wed, 13 Sep 2000 06:12:03 > Trey wrote: >>Aldo, if I had "experimented" with the G600, would >>you think I could recommend it, or would you think >>I'd wait and be sure.
