Since they get some seriously snotty weather I'd suggest that they'd quickly think of another diving platform if this one was not to their liking. Each to his own, here in my corner of Oz I know of one aluminium (sorry, aluminum) "rib" that I have dived off many times which was (a) very comfortable, (b) _particularly_ dry and (c) extremely stable, a serious advantage for divers.
