Subject: RE: DIR harness buckles

Hi Paul,

Your question is one I hear more often and is understandable.
However, with a proper configured DIR rig you will find this a mute point.
What you need to remember is that the buckle on the rig is not only the
waist band buckle but also serves to lock down the light on the right side
by coming all the way around and up to where the light attaches to the waist
band.
When your rig is configured like this, you will find it hard to confuse
between the weight belt and the harness.
Problem often is that people have already adjusted their rig improperly and
now lack the needed length on the waist strap...unfortunately this means
re-rigging your backplate with new webbing...

Good luck,

THOMAS
