He is thinking of Rob Parker, who died deep on air in a cave. He had one bottle of mix and one of air as sidemounts, ran out of mix, figure out the rest. Actually Alton, while you were the first person I phoned from the dive site the day ParkerTurner died, I neglected to tell you that Gavin was diving a Gavin scooter and Parker was diving a tekna. The tekna batteries died short of the roundtrip and Gavin was towing Parker. 4 minutes earlier to the door and they would have gotten through the restriction prior to the reversal like I did that day. As you know , i do not allow anything but real scooters now. Also, we tow scooters for a dive of that magnitude now. -----Original Message----- From: Alton Hall, Jr. <ahall@da*.co*> To: Harry, Quinn F <quinn.f.harry@lm*.co*> Cc: 'Joel Markwell' <joeldm@mi*.co*>; Techdiver <techdiver@aquanaut.com>; Cavers <cavers@ca*.co*> Date: Thursday, August 31, 2000 7:15 PM Subject: Re: Die Deep On Air >Palmer died deep on air.
