Recently read an article (a long one at that) in current issue of National geographic Adventure magazine. It was by Bernie Chowdry about the deaths of a father and son deep air team (the Rouse's). When will a positive story ever get out to the public about the living "tech" divers? All the stories in print end with "....the diver/s unfortunately died". In Bernie's story of the U-Who the father/ son team dove off the Seeker and dove air to the 200ft range. They did not use helium because "they could not afford it yet". So they get narced, trapped under wreckage, lost again, still narced and bolt to the surface hoping someone on the boat can help them. Why print such an article for the public to read? How about something positive about this "sport". Just a rant. -- Send mail for the `techdiver' mailing list to `techdiver@aquanaut.com'.
