George >Do not even tell me that my reasons for marking >stages do not fit a "wreck" diver - 100% of the gas >diving accidents are BREATHING THE WRONG GAS. Speaking as a UK wreck diver, I always check and double check the markings of my deco cylinders before and after a gas switch. The need for correct bottle marking applies to a greater extent in wreck diving than for cave. In cave, you drop your deco bottles at their MOD, in wreck you take them with you so the chance of a CF is much greater in wreck. Hence the *greater* importance for proper marking. You really need to try a cave dive and then tell me about this BULL. You make me laugh. Rise above the silt and take your bearing. What the fuck is wrong with you lately? You will never see my ass at sea without a compass, and "referencing" is a skill - ask anyone who has been cave diving . In-tack ships make it easy, man made debris is easy since it is somewhat recognizable. Try limestone for miles and then tell me how to navigate, JT - you are covering for idiots with lame ass bullshit. Do not even tell me that my reasons for marking stages do not fit a "wreck" diver - 100% of the gas diving accidents are BREATHING THE WRONG GAS. I am not interested in reaching morons, JT, I obviously have reached more people than any of you have or ever will, and that is a fact. Where do you think "DIR" came from, and who's tapes do they use, and who's diagrams, who's articles and who's description? Hello, Mom? I'l stick to my way of dealing with idiots, and you can diasagree - no big deal, but as for the marking, there is no arguement against my way that makes any fucking sense or holds up in all situations - Mine does. -----Original Message----- From: Capt JT <captjt@mi*.co*> To: Trey <trey@ne*.co*> Cc: List - Technical Diver <techdiver@aquanaut.com>; MHK <mhkane@pr*.ne*> Date: Sunday, August 13, 2000 11:04 AM Subject: Re: re vb tech reprot > >>JT, I don't know what kind of mutations or silliness >>you are wanting to "debate" with me, but I never >>noticed it diving with you either up there or down >>here, so it must be something you are planing on >>doing in the privacy of your own home , so don't >>even tell me. > >You will find that we will agree on almost everything, there are very >few things we do not agree on.
