Thanks, a paragraph was missing that covers this problem.(MY APOLOGIES) The post just before this hit it on the nail. It's better to do a deeper dive due to bubble compression then follow that new profile to the surface. To do the 45' dive for 42min would require a deco depth deeper than the dive plan, following the 170' dive by only one hour. The computer program picks up on this and is reflects the deeper deco stops. (a warning flashes stating this fact and warns against the dive profiles safety) I brought this up with Sheck when I started to use the program, he gave a more scientific explanation.
