  In Hexham in England there used to be made for a while the `Subskimmer'
which is a sort of RIB with auxiliary electric motors as well as a sealable
petrol outboard motor. It can inflate and deflate itself as it goes, and
transform into a submerged electric-powered diver-rider and back. The firm
closed, and it is now made in Normandy in France and is called Kraken-90. It
was grossly overpriced (100,000 pounds UK!!!!!), else it would have sold like
hot cakes. Has anyone here heard of this craft or anything like it?
