I have also seen custom welded stands for tanks that keep them upright and off the deck, that are detached when the tanks are worn while diving. the phrase titanium doorstop comes to mind. Personally i consider some kind of bench with integrated rack system to be a dir requirement of any dive boat.Trying to don tanks while standing, or perched on a storage box or gunwale is a cluster.
