O2 clean means you clean the reg and use O2 silicon lube. Other than that nothing else is needed. "02 Kit" is nothing but a scam. I have been using no special prep regs on 100% 02 for the last 5 years, as have many of my dive buddies. No explosions or even failures. Sounds like shop #4 would be the one to deal with.
