Currently thinking of developing a semiclosed apparatus, I am looking for some guidelines/recommendations about scrubber materials preparation. I know that the scrubber material should be compacted at the maximum to avoid any "channeling effect" but is there a standard procedure ? Any other aspect to consider? Is there a mean to evaluate the scrubber efficiency other than starting a breathlessness. How to monitor the autonomy? Any idea if a scrubber pack with an autonomy of 6 hours can be reused safely after a dive of 2-3 hours or if is it necessary to replace it systematicly?
