Tod, OK, I'll concede, within reason. Taking double K bottles down with you is not a good option. My point was more to not changing your rig around each dive. I'm very comfortable with my doubles. That being said I use them all the time, shallow dives, even inlet dives, if I've got air left over, it's no big deal. No reason for me to have to change my rig around to a single and take off weight.... Just like I dive a dry suit all the time. I know a few divers who change into a wet suit for the latter summer months. I'm comfortable diving in a dry suit so I use it year round. Heck, if I could use it in the Caribbean without over heating I probably would (not to suggest that I dive down there) Art. -----Original Message----- From: TGunther@co*.co* [SMTP:TGunther@co*.co*] Sent: Tuesday, August 01, 2000 9:52 AM To: techdiver@aquanaut.com Subject: RE: ABC on Diving the San Diego - COKE ALERT << I would suspect that's the reason for the rig. Professional climbers realize this, but divers it seems generally deal with a bit less gray matter. Regards, Tod -- Send mail for the `techdiver' mailing list to `techdiver@aquanaut.com'.
