There is no reason to use a long hose with an open water rig. There
is no reason to use the backup lights. You unclip the pressure gauge to
read it. Obviously the Halcyon plate was not properly assembled or
attached to the tank properly - they don't wobble if properly attached.

Using a signge tank adaptor for a harness is nothing new. Dive Rite
has had this for years. What we believe is that one type and set of gear
should hold up for all levels of diving, which the harness does and is
the centerpiece of. You start with the litle wings for O/W diving, and
when you use doubles with the same harness, you use bigger wings and the
long hose and lights. The hose thing is misunderstood - what we have is
a backup around the neck, and we breath the primary. The primary is long
if overhead diving is done - not an open water rig concern.

This singleness of rig not only saves the diver a ton of money , it
saves him from silly gear and having to use different gear for different
dives and levels of diving - not in the best interest of safety.

I think you my not need anything we have for what you are doing,
but since you do not uderstand it anyway, or it has been improperly
represented to you, your comments are missing the boat here.

Not liking us is fine, but I suggest you go read your own posts to
see who the real offender is, Mike, and I suggest you get out the record
books - both real and "track" and see who has them all. You can't out-
argue me on any of this because you do not have the diving resume to do
so - you are trying to deal with the tip of the iceberg here without
ever having had any experince with the 90% body of diving that is out of
your sight.

The difference between you and me and me and those who do what you
do is that I have tried eveything you do and everything the strokes do
and have moved on to better ways. You guys have not, and don't know why.
I do. The enthusism you see from others hwo get a shot at this syutem is
understandable - it is such a huge departure form the crap that is
generally taught at all levels. Many of them just have not yet gone the
distance with this so are not sharpened up. If you want to argue it, try
me- nobody beats me ever becuase I am right about it, and have the
correct ansers to all the questions. I will even answer them politely,
even to you, Mike, in the interest of getting it right.
