Of course this same POS has also said, on November 4, > 1997, "Hello all, My name is Scott Koplin. I have 15 logged dives, > and about 30 unlogged." ROTFLOL. You're a wannabe, lying, sniveling, > loudmouthed, ranting POS, DIR's poster boy. Suck it up, weenie. Or > better yet, try logging a few dives, puppy. MJB Mr. Black, Let me explain to you why no one but you cares about my Nov. 4 1997 post. 1st off, I got *certified* in 1997. I drew my first breath of compressed air in a pool in 1976. I did my first open ocean dive in 1980. And, I had been doing it wrong since then. I had never heard of DIR till I started reading the lists. Normally, I had seen from lurking for a couple months, new posters to the list come aboard and tell about how many dives they have, and that they know everything, and this DIR is a bunch of shit. See, unlike you, after lurking for a couple months, I started to learn that the amount of knowledge I thought I had was the tip of an iceberg of ignorance. Unlike you, I realized I had a *lot* of reading and learning to do. In addition, when I said I talked to you, it was because a good number of us were *convinced* that no *real* doctor would post the shit you do. We *knew* the guy posting as MJBMD was a phony, and that whoever the poster was, must have a beef with the real MJBMD, and was trying to slander his name, and perhaps hijacked his ISP. I was simply trying to smoke out a troll. To learn that it really is *you* posting was simply hilarious. See, we couldn't believe *anyone* posting the stupidity, and death wishes, that you have posted could be a member of the medical profession. So, yes, Black, I lied. Sue me. DIR, George Irvine, Jarrod Jablonski, Jim Cobb, Jammer, have all changed the way I dive (and learn) for the better, forever. They pissed me off, insulted me, and made me *want* to learn WTF they were talking about, and I did. You on the other hand, continue to wallow in your cesspool of hyperbole and pride based ignorance. And, WTF are you so proud about??? I don't know or care what your problem is. As far as I am concerned, you are a ZERO. ZERO to share, ZERO to contribute, ZERO to teach. You are nothing but a punching bag. Shit, you are a diving ophthalmologist, and you had no clue as to what hyperoxic myopia was. But, you were going to tell us all about diving medicine, even flaming Milak, who *works* in hyperbarics!! Milak has done lots of chamber runs, inside and out. Have you? No, but that doesn't stop you from running your suck. You are a scrawny, bald, spiteful little jerk, with a major little mans complex, and the only purpose you serve on this and any other list is to provide a stark contrast to DIR and common sense. All your professed "knowledge" comes from books, and the crack of your ass. Now, use Bobby McGuire's name one more fucking time for your personal agenda. Desecrate his memory and his honor again. Us old Jarheads have been keeping count. And you *will* have opportunity to stand tall and answer for your crimes. And you are going to answer to Bobby's brethren. See, the US Marine Corps is called a Band of Brothers. We back Ours to the end, and forever after. You aint fit to lick his boots, let alone use his name for your personal agenda. You attack with ignorance, from behind a fortified position of cowardice. Since your mother was obviously too stupid and lazy to teach you the rules of common decency, let me. You don't use a dead mans name, especially a dead Marine, the way you have. You have neither privilege nor right. Its called "morals" Black, something I am sure they tried to teach you in that 3rd world med school you went to. And Black, regardless of log books, I do more dives in a month than you do in a year. So what? I know people with less than 500 dives, who would make you look like the idiot you are, *especially* in the water. BTW, here are the definitions of those words you helped me learn: Pons asinorum. [L., literally, bridge of asses.] To make an ass of one's self, to do or say something very foolish or absurd. hebetude \Heb"e*tude\, n. [L. hebetudo.] Dullness; stupidity. --Harvey. hubris n : overbearing pride or presumption And another one I found to be very descriptive of you: mountebank \Mount"e*bank\, n. [It. montimbanco, montambanco; montare to mount + in in, upon + banco bench. See Mount, and 4th Bank.] 1. One who mounts a bench or stage in the market or other public place, boasts of his skill in curing diseases, and vends medicines which he pretends are infalliable remedies; a quack doctor. "Such is the weakness and easy credulity of men, that a mountebank . . . is preferred before an able physician." --Whitlock. 2. Any boastful or false pretender; a charlatan; a quack. "Nothing so impossible in nature but mountebanks will undertake." --Arbuthnot. Put your dunce cap back on (the glare is blinding), and go to your corner, little man.
